Where the Funds Go
In fall 2006, Brad Rixmann of Burnsville-based Pawn America approached leaders of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities to discuss the possibility of reinstating and reinventing the former Kids Café program. Shortly thereafter, the Kids Feeding Kids (KFK) initiative was created to help solve a serious hunger problem plaguing local children.

Run to Remember
In 2013, one of our founders of the Heart of the City Race, Trish Wehling, lost her daughter, Jordan, in a car accident at the age of 18. Jordan was a participant in and volunteered for the Heart of the City Races.
